The small, dry material that sparks a fire. Also: the act of igniting something latent, tender, or transformative.

Why today:
Because livinghopenism.org is now visible to the world. Because even a whisper of presence can catch light. Because of your work, poetic, civic, musical, is kindling for others. Not yet the blaze, but the invitation.
